A Developmental Home Provider opens their home to provide a foster home setting to an DD member in need. They can support up to three members in their home at one time. All members placed in Developmental Homes are receiving services through DES/DDD and have been diagnosed with a developmental disability.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, pass a prescreening, complete Lintoc Care and ADH/CDH course work.
Providing support to clients in all aspects of life.
Life-skills training by supervising and interacting with clients to meet their social, life skills, and habitation goals.
Transportation of clients in approved vehicles to and from appointments, day programs, etc.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and inspection compliant house per DDD standards.
Meal prep and cooking for client according to the menu.
Ensure clients are aware and understand house rules.
Other duties as assigned by upper management.
DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions
Article 9 Certification
Prevention and Support Certification (Group Home Requirement Only)
First Aid/CPR Certification or BLS if an LPN
Valid driver license or ability to obtain one prior to the date of hire
